Back in the day, I used to eat “healthy” …or at least I totally thought I was! I was eating “non-fat” food, “sugar free” drinks, and a lot of tofu.
Little did I know that how I was eating was hurting my gut, thyroid and immune function!
I was skinny and I “looked good” but I was totally causing inflammation in my thyroid and affecting my gallbladder function which over time resulted in my long term “mystery illness” which nobody could figure out for 10 years.
I spent most of my 30’s in bed and unable to even work because I was too sick to work or stand up long enough to take a shower. I was in too much pain to eat normally and had to eat only soft foods. I felt like I was trapped in my body like an invisible prison.
