Why do you get itchy? And what can you do about it?

Do you get itchy? Chronic itchiness and skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dry skin and even rosacea are usually caused by your body’s drainage system being overwhelmed. When we test patients in office, we always see a connection between the spleen and chronic skin issues and almost always an overgrowth of fungus too.
The spleen works with the immune system and is an important drainage organ. It helps remove cellular waste, maintain fluid balance, and activates infection-fighting white blood cells. Our spleen also helps with inflammation and healing so we LOVE our spleen!
When the spleen is overwhelmed by toxins like heavy metals or chemicals, it becomes inflamed and is not doing its job as well as its supposed to. Over time, this deficiency results in overgrowth of fungus and/or bacteria which results in a very itchy you!
WHAT TO DO? Maintaining a diet high in organic free range animal protein and staying away from sugar, dairy, wheat and soy can really help because those foods feed fungus and can cause leaky gut and food allergies. Also eliminating common toxins from your daily life can really make a difference over time:
- eat organic to prevent pesticide toxicity
- get a good quality shower & water filter for chlorine and fluoride
- stay away from aluminum cookware and plastic food storage
